Fortune Law welcomed its clients, business contacts and friends to its new offices on Chancery Lane on 3 May 2018.

It was a wonderful evening of canapés, champagne and catch ups and a fantastic opportunity to show off our beautiful offices in what used to be the London Patent Office until 1991.

Central Court was built by Sir John Taylor in the early 20th Century and Fortune Law has a prime spot on the top floor of the Library, described by Nikolaus Pevsner and Simon Bradley as a ‘harsh but spectacular space 140ft long, lit from skylights and a clerestory, with two tiers of steel-framed, fireproofed galleries on cast iron Corinthian columns’.

Aside from the remarkable architecture and interesting history of the building, it was an enjoyable evening all round and we would like to thank Central Court staff for helping us throw such a successful event and of course our wonderful clients and friends who came to celebrate with us.
